Pineapple Academy’s Group Training was designed as a fast, effective, and easy-to-execute solution for training your team. It allows for instructor-led training in a group setting and is a great tool to use in a stand-up or pre-shift meeting, or even a classroom setting where you need to train a lot of team members quickly. It is the perfect tool to onboard new team members, develop a team and standardize your training. We provide supporting documents for you to use, including Attendance Sheets, Quizzes and an Answer Key. It is more like the individual, self-paced training you would expect in e-learning with the ability to track their progress automatically. As an added benefit, Certified Dietary Managers can earn CE hours that count toward their requirements for recertification.

The decision to utilize micro-training courses was derived through research. Multiple evidence-based studies support the idea that the highest level of learner retention, engagement and overall effectiveness comes from providing learners with short bites of information.
At Pineapple Academy, our standard of delivering videos in increments of 5-minutes or less is how we optimize training, and having specific skills presented by subject matter experts who bring real world experiences to the training makes all the difference when it comes to providing engaging content.

We understand that time is limited when it comes to ongoing training. The responsibility of designing a training program to fit into a day of unpredictable interruptions is almost impossible.
Pineapple Academy takes the guesswork out of it with our hassle-free “playlists” known as training topics. This grouping of micro-training courses is designed to simply help with the assignment and implementation process. Each training topic focuses on a specific training need, and our training topics never exceed 50 minutes so they can easily be completed in a typical work week.
The ultimate key to a successful training implementation is to make training a priority. Our recommended best practice for all operators is to allow their team members to use the first 10 minutes (or less) immediately after clocking in for the shift to complete their micro-training assignment. Training topics make it easy to do a little each day.
